Thank you for your help it is much appreciated. This site is great. I got the marriage certificate but can't find their births. With the help of this sight I may find out more. Both sides of the family were Irish.

May I thank everyone for their help. I did find out quite a bit. I did not want to know any personal details about any living members. It would be nice to know that they are alive and well. Not very good at this kind of thing yet. But once again many thanks

I am interested in finding out what happened to my grandfathers sister Frances Hepple who married a John Armstrong. They came from Birtley, County Durham. They emigrated to Western Australia in 1929 with their 5 sons and 1 daughter. They had another daughter in 1932 over there.  i think they first settled in Kalgoorie W.A.  He was a miner

many thanks. Not very good at posting messages in the appropriate place.  Her husband was John Armstrong and she was Frances Hepple. They were formerly from Birtley, County Durham

Australia / Armstrong family history in Western Australia , 1929 onwards.....
« on: Wednesday 12 August 15 18:22 BST (UK)  »
I am looking to find out about my grandfathers sister Frances Armstrong who emigrated to western Australia with her husband and family in 1929. She was one of 12 children, my grandfather being the eldest. No one in the family know anything about them after they emigrated. I do however have one family group photo taken with her 5 sons and 2 daughters. I think the youngest daughter was Born in Australia

Thank you. I hadn't realised they did not put deceased next to father on marriage certificate.  I am not sure that this is the one as it would make him born in 1817.  He was born in 1822 and  has at least 3 - 4 siblings born between 1817 and his birth.   Thank you so much for your help

I am looking for the death of William Anderson born Gosforth approx 1822. He lived in Gateshead with his wife Elizabeth. She died in 1906 but I can't seem to find a death for him.  He is on his son's marriage certificate in 1898 and is not down as deceased. His wife is widowed in 1901.  I would be grateful for any help finding his death
