Me again! I tried to delete my reply that  talks about the Sewells and now I don't know if it made it out there or not. Please ignore if I did.

Thanks again. You've given me some good clues. Yes, I do have ancestry but hadn't been able to locate the 1851 census. Cheers, Stephanie

Hi Trish1120, I have Dinah as married to William Steele and having Henry. William passed away on 1831 then Dinah remarried to Isaac Sewell in 1834 and having 4 more children. I'm happy to share what I have if you think it's correct. Just let me know. P.S. Yes, I have ancestry.

I'm trying to confirm the parents of John Bryden born 1801 in Irton. It looks like Thomas Bryden and Esther Stanger from others' research but I can't locate a confirmed link. John married Mary Turner in 1826. Sometimes she seems to be Mary Antrobus or Antrobus Turner and I'm sure what that's about. Two different women? Thank you for your help, everyone.

Thank you. This is one of a few records I have that I'm confident is the right person. Beyond that, I can't find the right Alexander Taylor and that's where I'm stuck. Also, thank you for the information about the church. I'll google it right now. Cheers, Stephanie
