Hi, trying to find record of Margaret Imlach married John Cumming, Banff.Margaret was born 1807. Her parents were Andrew Imlach and Helen Cumine(Cumming). Trying to find the children of Margaret and John as we think one of the children may be GG Grandfather George imlach Cumming.Appreciate any help its been a long and arduous search.Only record on George Imlach cumming parents on his Marriage cert is John cumming.

Hi, I need help trying to find the parents of William Nixon, states on the chelsea Pensioners Records that he was born 1789 in Ashfield Cavan. I have a bit of help from Annette on the Chelsea look up, and he joined the 23rd Reg of FootRoyal New foundland Veteran Companies in 13/8/1813 and discharged 10/6/1835. aged 47.This is all the info i have.Any help very much appreciated, its a bit of a long shot with so little information.

Hi,would anyone be able to help me. I am looking for record for William Nixon born 1789 Cavan Ire. who was a British Soldier and received a pension. I am wanting to know what regiment he was in and any other information if at all possible.I am trying to find out if he could be a brother of my GG Grandfather Adam Nixon.Any help much appreciated thanks.

Hi, trying to find out any Information regarding John Cumming born 10/8/1798 Marnock Banff, died 10/3/1873 Glasgow Lanark. Married Jean(jane) Jamieson 1819 Banff. They have a son listed James born 1 or 8 Dec 1822 Gamrie Banff. I am trying to verify that these are the parents of George Cumming (GG Grandfather). I have a 1841 census, but he is not showing as he would have left then to join the army.I have info either side but nothing with him for actual verification.Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Hi,My GG Grandfather was Adam Nixon born 1799 Cavan, Married Elizabeth Nixon (ne Orielly) in 1828 Ireland. Had 10 children Ellen,James,Elizabeth,Mathew,Anne, Mary Jane. Margaret, Teresa,all born Ireland. Edward,Caroline born NZ. Adam came to New Zealand in 1847 as a fencible soldier 47th Reg Of Foot.The rest of his family, siblings, maybe parents apparently emigrated to America from Ireland. Unfortunatly i dont have names, dates or anything.Hoping someone may be researching same branch of Nixons, a long shot i know.thanks.

Hi, Trying to find when Adam Cottrell Turnock arrived in NZ.He was born in 1825 in Macclesfield Cheshire and died 29 June 1914 in NZ..He was married to Emily Maria Hills.I think he married in NZ.They had 6 children born here. He was my G G Grandfather.Appreciate any help, thanks.

Hi, Ive been tryng to find any more information about Adam Turnock born 1825 in Macclesfield. married Emily Maria (marie) Hills.Emigrated to New Zealand. He died 1914. She 1930. I know its a long shot as this is all the information i have prior to NZ.  My G G Grandfather. Thanks.
