Radnorshire / Re: George Milward married 1797, Whitton, Radnorshire

Hi osprey

Thanks for your reply, I have seen the record you refer to ... but there is also a record for 'a marriage in Whitton' (both records are for George Milward, in the same year, so I can only assume that there was TWO marriages with very similar details to each other).

Thanks again.

Kind Regards

Ahhh, Trish, bless you, thank you so much ... lost count of the number of times you've come to my aid, you're a star.

Whilst I had the info on George, the info on Ann is new to me and extremely positive and helpful. thank you again.

Hi All

Update ... George & Samuel Milward (in post previous to this message) now traced and acounted for, many thanks for help (received elsewhere on this site).

Still looking for any info please on Ann, James and Thomas Milward born to parents Robert & Elizabeth Milward, around the later 1800's (1870ish as a guess). I believe that Radnorshire may be the best bet for birthplace (as their brothers were born there) but I have no other proof.
The above 'Milward three' are now the only missing links to date.

Many thanks in advance of any information.

Kind Regards

Well, well, well ... it looks like the elusive 'John' has been netted (along with confirmation of Elizabeth) ... that fits with my suspicions Donna, I really cannot thank you enough for all your work.

THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, thank you most sincerely for all your effort and help Donna, all above and beyond my expectations, you've been a true star.

(I'm 'happy' with my details I've collected on Thomas (son of Samuel), I have some old newspaper clippings that tie everything up). Samuels son, John, is the only missing link now ... I had found a John Milward born 1826 Bromyard but no concrete evidence to link up as yet.

Many many thanks again Donna

Kind regards

Hi Donna

Wonder if I can be cheeky please?

Do your disks or records give details of a John Milward, son of Samuel and Elizabeth, born (best guess) sometime between 1817-1830ish perhaps.

He's a huge missing link and would solve many mysteries if I could find him ... fingers crossed.

Many thanks

Kind Regards
