Kent Lookup Requests / Plaxtol
« on: Sunday 21 May 17 20:40 BST (UK) »Is there anyone who is near the church in Plaxtol.I have some ancestors buried there. Name is Masters the 1st burial was 1819 then the other 2 followed.The grave is in the North Western Yard. I would so like a photo of the headstone if that's possible.

Down / 1841/1851 census
« on: Saturday 23 April 16 23:35 BST (UK) »Please can someone explain to me how on the 1851 census there are people I've never heard of. The return was made by a Charles Gunning. He said that his parents were William and Mary Snodden,he then has a list of people that I don't know where they came from.
Mary and William's children were Samuel,James,Thomas Henry,David and Sarah so who are the other people? I'm also puzzled because non of them were born in !841 and only Samuel was born by 1851.
An explanation would be good,Thank you

I don't know if I've posted this before,if I have,sorry. I'm looking for the burial place of Henry Joseph Masters.He died 13 June 1886 in Hackney/Stoke Newington.I have tried everywhere I can think of without success. Any ideas please

My great grandmother was Jane Belshaw,1846-1902,her father was John Belshaw 1807-1864. I can't find his father or further back with the Belshaws. John and Jane were from Co Down but it's possible that John's family were from Northern England as it's a well known name there. Any ideas please.
