Wiltshire Lookup Requests / Ogbourne look up

Hi
I've found an online entry for

John Rawley marrying Joan Eades in Ogbourne St Andrew on 31.1.1719

Is anyone able to look at an original and see if there is any other information, e.g. where the groom is from

Many thanks

Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / No maternal DNA?
« on: Thursday 29 October 15 22:02 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
Just got my ancestry DNA results. My mother is German (back 5 generations in the same area at least). My father is British. My results came back 94% British, 1% Eastern European, 1% Scandinavian and the rest was traces. My question is how can I be so high in British DNA which can only have been passed down the male line and no trace of Western European? My mother definitely is my mother, I look exactly like her.
I thought we only inherited small amounts of the y line, so how can it be so high in my case? I thought we mostly inherited from the maternal line.

My sister has also tested and is third British, third west Europe, third Scandinavian

Can anyone shed any light?
Thanks

London and Middlesex / East End parish

In the marriage records of Tower Hamlets I keep coming across the phrase 'hamlet of MEOT' and 'MENT'
The T could be an S.
Its in the parish register of St Dunstans and All Saints, Stepney. 1821. I'm assuming its an abbreviation for a parish. Does anyone know what it is? About half the entries on each page have it.
I don't know how to upload a picture on here to show you.

Thanks

Chasbaz I have seen John Parsons Earwaker in my searches but no direct connection. They must be related somewhere down the line though.  Such an unusual name!

Thankyou Hampshire lass.  Yes I've got all those images.  This was my last port of call before getting birth certificate. Will it def give mothers name? Or should I get the latest possible birth certificate for the youngest child
