Stirlingshire / John HALL - born abt. 1834
« on: Monday 07 November 05 03:47 GMT (UK)  »
At the time of the 1851 Census, my great great great grandparents, William HALL (born abt. 1791 in St Ninians, Stirlingshire) & Ann HALL [m.s. STEVENSON] (born 1786 in Stirling, Stirlingshire) had their grandson, John HALL (born abt. 1834 in Alloa, Clackmannanshire) living with them and their family.

I am trying to find out who John's parents were...  That is, which one of William & Ann's children did he belong to?

So, at the time of the 1851 Census, John HALL was living in St Ninians, Stirlingshire with his grandparents, William & Ann HALL.

He was a Tanner by trade and was said to be 17 years old at the time.

His place of birth was given as Alloa, Clackmannanshire.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes,
