Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help tell me what this means?
In the last entry where discharge is written there is a number T45......  ??? (I can't make it out) JUNE 1951 below Auckland. I also would like to know what the pink 13 means?  ??? Also what does DO stand for in rank and profession?

My Great Uncle went missing. He failed to join the Waimana in Auckland. From what I know he was last seen in 1950/1951 in Auckland. I'm trying to find out more about him.

Thanks for the help.   :)

Hi a Google search suggests it is from the Irish O'Nuallain ( Nuala)  Fair Shoulders D Nolleroth Fr Nol-Leau or Nollet G Nolte c 1687?

Hello,

This is a long shot but I was wondering if you have ideas of trying to see if I can find a picture of a relative? I have tried looking in Newspapers but not much luck. Any advice is welcome.
I know that one probably doesn't exist but you never know ;D.
Mary Cassidy born 1895 Lanarkshire,Glasgow and died Mary Alexander in 1929 in Lanarkshire.

Thanks  :)

Your best bet would be locating living  descendants, ie second, third cousins etc.

Thanks Mike in Cumbria. I have emailed a relative but haven't heard back from them. I have been looking for more. :)

The only thing that springs to mind is posting a similar thread on Rootschat directed at the descendants of Mary Alexander or the Cassidys. Possibly with the heading 'Does anyone have a photo of Mary Alexander nee Cassidy?'
Best of luck

Regards

AJ

Hi,

This is a long shot ;D but a rootschat member gave me this idea. I'm looking for a photo of Mary Alexander nee Cassidy born 1895 Govan,Lanarkshire and died 1929 in the Belvidere Hospital,Lanarkshire. I have looked through newspapers but no luck. Any advice or a photo would make me very happy.

Thanks,

Cheska  :)
