Thanks for info.........Have several photos of church and cemetery in Canada, every rememberence day they hold a service and all the boys buried there are remembered! Vicar is a lovely lady who I have been in contact with and who took the photos and also got me copies of the press cuttings of the crash in which Jack died.

How kind people are when water is a great distance.

Thanks again

Hi

Just wondering if any of you have married women who have married a man with same surname!
I Was a Miss Wood and married a Mr Wood ............. no relation! just wonder how common this is?

also have ancestor in 1880s whose first wife died so he married her sister..............

Had day of ill today so have been busy on Family History! would love to do it again tomorrow but dont think the Head Teacher at school would approve!

Have fun Sue

I started after my Mother died, she wanted her ashes to be placed in grave with her grandparents, as the grave had never had a headstone we the family decided to erect one! so muggings was asked to contact Devon council to find out dates etc of the other residences!.........That was it hooked hook line and sinker! just wish Mum was still here to see what I had found out! The one grave in Dawlish Devon has now turned into 5 dotted all around the cemetry none I'm sure she knew about!........

PS always did like jigsaws.
