Glamorganshire Completed Lookups / Hayward - Walters from Rhondda - Ystradyfodwg

Looking for census info on Joseph Charles Hayward c1885 Bristol who married Daisy Walters c 1888 Rhondda in June Q 1907. Reg dist Pontypridd.  There were a number of children all now deceased.

Couple lived in the Rhondda / Ystradyfodwg area am sure..as far as aware.


1901 for couple and back also sought.

I was like a bloodhound in my early years  :P even thou working, family responsibility, life etc..still there

Do any have access to WW1 records?

Looking to find Edmund Williams b c1872 Whitchurch Glamorgan. Last available cenus at 119 Kendry St, Tonypandy. Wife Mary Ann. He was a miner.

Family history has it he was in the war in 1916 when his dau married.  Died 1925 at same address.

Any help appreciated.

1831 census for Ireland 'possible' knew his father is John from marriage cert. seems there are 3 namesake living next to each other, with a num of family in each. Grasping at straws?

Just got back to FH, after 5yrs..hoping to pick up some info and possibly go back further.  ???

The furthest I have got back on my dads side is Richard Gibbons b 1695 Siddington Glou. died 27 Jan 1763 at Kemble Wilts. He married Hester Timbrell on  27 Jan 1720 in Kemble. Hester was b 1699 Kemble and died 27 Jan 1763 Kemble.

My notes state: Gloucester Archives office on the burials & Marriage of Richard & Hester. Richard was buried at Kemble on 27th January 1763 & Hester on March 4th 1774 they were married in Kemble on 27th Nov 1720. Richard having been Born in Siddington St Peter in 1695 & Hester in Kemble in 1699.

They had 3 children to my knowledge. John Gibbens 1725 in Kemble, (my line) Betty 1730 - 1732? Kemble. Elizabeth 1735?  _ ? married John Cooke.

My notes state: Elizabeth Gibbens Birth: 1735? Kemble, Wiltshire. Marriage: 16 OCT 1755 Oaksay, Wiltshire. Spouse: John Cook Record submitted by a member of the LDS Church

John Gibbens widower. Married Ann Ludlow spinster of parish Oaksey; on the 21st.October,1767. At Kemble.
My notes state: Kemble Marriages pre 1837 - John Gibbens widower. Married Ann Ludlow spinster of parish Oaksey; on the 21st.October,1767. At Kemble.

What I would like to know are there any bapt records available to go back further from Richard and Hester ?

Also who was Johns first wife? Did he have any children with her? (he was a widower when he married Anne Ludlow) they went on to have children in my records, first born in 1768. John Gibbons b 1770 - 1849 (my line)
