Good morning  all, hope everyone is feeling chipper this week

Expected to be a hot week this week, hope not to hot but I feel as if we have had hardly any summer at all..

Had one of those silly nights where I have lain awake for hours, eventually was up before 6am,  street lights still on, what a waste, the timer needs adjusting.

My grandson is 21 tomorrow but  he is away so if there is any celebrating it won't be till  he returns,  goodness knows  what to buy a 21 year old lad.

Viktoria,  hope your sons move next door will  be complete soon and you will  have your home back to do as you like when you like, hopefully you will  be invited next door for a cuppa or 2. Also hope there is better news about your friend

Take care everyone

Can anyone remember what date the Burlesque show was on at the Cliffs
 Pavilion  theatre this year please.

Might seem a strange request

Good evening folks , bit late but it is still  bank holiday Monday,  seems a bit like a Sunday  but really bank Holidays make no difference to  me, no extra day off like most retirees.

Been a bit mixed weather wise , when the sun came out it was quite warm but otherwise chilly

Hope everyone is well this week, Viktoria this includes your poorly friend.

Back to normal tomorrow

Good morning  folks
Thought I would start off this week.

After a couple of very hot days it is dull and damp today, a real shame  as I have a funeral to go to today, just hope the weather cheers up.

Viktoria, you are very kind to your friend, you can only do your best but family should be involved to know what is going on.

Bank Holiday this coming  weekend, hope the weather stays nice for those out and about, I am going  Whistable on Saturday with the bowls club as they have spare seats, I said I won't go if it  pours with rain, no fun in that.

Hope everyone feel chipper this morning, take care

I am searching for
Henry G Circus born 1907 , born Faringdon Berks
parents Alfred G  and  Mary E circus

Henry married Ethel May Everett 1904?, Paddington
Parents Esther Mizon and Joseph  Edwin Everett, Mizon surname spelling  varies.

Checked census and electoral registers up to 1955
Up to 1954 Henry and Ethel  were living in Telford Road for quite some years
1955 they were in Wornington Road,

So far I haven't found any children born to Henry and Ethel although I must admit I haven't  delved to deeply,  what I am researching  is the deaths of Henry and Ethel, I can find nothing after 1955.

Any help much appreciated,  thank you in anticipation

No one has started the new week so here I am.

I have had an emotional  afternoon in some ways , I decided to go through photographs, I must have hundreds upon hundreds of them, lots came from my
mother when her flat was emptied, amongst photographs I found our dogs  pedigree papers, very interesting !, Laddie was born  1st  January 1940, the pedigree lists to his Gt Gt grandparents, one gt grandparent was a champion and had won over 100 prizes,  his registered name was  Sheenlocks Lad but we called him Laddie, he was the sweetest cocker spaniel , lived to be 12 years old, it looks as if he cost £2 15s 0p, the bill of sale said he could be returned in 48 hours with vetinary  ?., they have stamped on the rest,  the papers are really very clean considering the how old they are , emotional  to say the least, I remember Laddie was taken to the vet when he was 12 , he had to be put to sleep, as he walked  upstairs with the vet he looked back at my dad, my dad was in tears, broke his heart, we never had another dog after Laddie died.

Good morning folks
Hope everyone is feeling chipper this morning.

Weather not been so good here, went to look at a wedding on Saturday and it poured with rain, such a shame, today isn't looking so good either,  my fault  was practically praying  for rain for my garden!!

School holidays in this area, not many youngsters  here although  a family moved in along the road with children, might see them out, as long as they stay out of the road I will  feel happy

My daughters 30th anniversary today, for their birthdays they usually have the day off, not sure if they will today

Viktoria , hope all is going well with your sons move next door to you, you will  soon get back to having your house as you like it , he is near enough to be a help if you need it.

Looks like rain,  no washing out today,  what happened to our summer.

Take care folks

Morning folks, where is everybody.

Hope you all had a  good weekend,   thought we were expecting  rain or a storm but not this area yet,  my garden could do with it.

Trusting you are all well.

Not a lot going  on her, just a normal day
