Morning folks, where is everybody.

Hope you all had a  good weekend,   thought we were expecting  rain or a storm but not this area yet,  my garden could do with it.

Trusting you are all well.

Not a lot going  on her, just a normal day

Morning  folks
Here begineth yet another week, hope everyone is feeling chipper this week.

Sun out but blowy, ideal washing weather

Will be a strange week for me waiting for my grandaughter  to return home, she flies home from  Kwala Lumpur  on Friday  but we won't see her till Sunday, poor girl will be jet lagged I am sure,  I suggested we left it a few extra days but our daughter had different ideas.

I am off to do some gardening now, weeding  between the dreaded bricks, why did we ever have block paving?

Take care

Morning folks
Cooler today to almost feeling chilly after yesterday's sweltering  heat, this is better for me but each to their own,  Brighton was heaving with people while a Yorkshire area had rain.

I have watered a pot of sunflower seeds religiously  every day except Saturday and they are dying, granted they were given to me late but they were about an inch up, now they have shrivelled  up, must be due to the heat,  perhaps I ought to move them, I will  be disappointed  as they were a gift.

Hope everyone is well  happy week

Hello Folks
Where is everyone today,  it is very quiet, enjoying the weather?

Bit mixed weather, although we had a lot of rain overnight Sunday  and a storm the ground seems quite dry underneath the top layer.

My car has gone for a complete service after I had it repaired after my accident, I am hoping they won't find to may problems with it,   can only hope!

Not a lot going on at the moment.

I have written on last weeks diary but thought I would start a new week, gosh,  how time is flying.

Hope everyone who had high temps survived the weekend, hopefully the weather will improve but a reasonable temperature would suit me, not a lot we can do whichever way it goes.

Got to be a "secret squirrel" this week, is my husbands birthday , not telling him of the plans I have , he just has to be smart and ready, just hope he is OK, whilst away for the weekend he had one of what I call "funny turns," he calls it "the rigours"  where he shakes uncontrollably,  quite frightening, I have asked him to see a Dr as I ought to know what is going  on, 4th attack whilst away from home, he should put his sensible hat on and go to the Drs.

How everyone is well and survived the weekend

LM.

Morning Morning folks,
Here we are starting yet another week

Not a lot going on here, weather really dull and calm, washing looks paralysed on the line, no movement,  normally wouldn't bother but it is all my heavy towels taken out of the airing cupboard,  white ones hardly used, thought I would freshen them up, picked the wrong day.

Everyone seems to cram so much into a day, makes me feel lazy but I am not.

I have just done an online shop, 5th ever, don't find it easy to be honest and it takes me a while to find where I am,  hopefully it will arrive OK

Enjoy your day

Morning folks
Unbelievable we are almost into June.

Yesterday I thought was quite warm but it was cold in church despite the sun outside, PM I felt very cold and decided to have a bath to warm up.

I have 6 perennial  plants to put in that should last for a long time, just trying to cut down the amount of annuals I put in every year,  I Iike them and the colours but my legs and back make if more difficult, I will still have some bedding  plants but nowhere near as many as I usually do, my husband  doesn't like gardening so it is down to me, I am trying  to make life easier for me..

My  grandaughter  roaming around Asia will be home first week In  July after being away for 6 months, she is in Bali now and I think she is ready to come home, I will be pleased to see her.

Hope everyone is feeling chipper this week , hoping for some wamer weather, about time .

Take care

Good morning folks,
Here beginnith  yet another week , hope everyone is in good spirits.

Hope everyone had good weekend , days here start off bright and deteriorates as the evening approaches and the heating kicks  in, I could do without it but my husband feels the cold

Having looked for bedding plants  I think the plants are suffering and late this year, wasn't impressed with a  local nursery I normally use,  perhaps next week with a bit if sunshine they might come on,  I saw a prog recenty and it was showing  when you plant cut the flowers off, makes them work harder to put down roots and  they will come on better within a  few weeks,  never heard that before.

Viktoria, hope your sons plans turn out fine and he can settle next door-to-door you, company for both of you when you need it..

Take care, happy week

Morning all  ,
Lousy morning, rain again,

Well the time  has  come, for those who remember my car saga today it is going in  for repair , my husband actually  washed it so that it looks presentable,  I just hope everything  goes to plan, I have only driven to church and back as it is local, not driven far afield but I have to this morning and not looking forward to it.

I managed to do some gardening yesterday hoping to could finish the edges today, well thwarted again, rain looks set in for the day, by now I would have got my bedding plants sorted.

Hope everyone is feeling chipper this morning, happy week.
