Details of requested record are:
John Scott born Oct. 1801 in Wallsend Northumberland, married Frances Moor born 1799 in Earsdon, Northumberland at All Saints Church in Newcastle on August 2, 1828.  I have Frances parents as Thomas Moor and Margaret Blakey.  Am looking for the parents of John Scott.

Thank you!

Hoping someone would be able to do a marriage lookup at Woodhorn (near Ashlington in Northumberland).  I am searching for a parish marriage record from 1828 at All Saints Church in Newcastle.  If so, please contact me.
Much appreciated !
Thanks,
Patty

Frances Moor was born in Earsdon,as were her siblings, but she married John Scott Aug 2 1828 at All Saints Church in Newcastle.  According to the IGI at Family Search website all children were born at Gosforth Parish In Longbenton. I have the family in Longbenton on the 1841, 1851 and 1861 census.  John may have died in 1870, since he is not on the 1871 census and his wife is listed as widowed.  I have no other information on John Scott married to Frances Moor  :(

Sorry if my post was misleading.  I know John Scott is a common name and I may never figure this out.

I am trying to figure out the parents of John Scott born between 1796 and 1803 in Northumberland, probably the Longbenton area.  He married Frances Moor (parents Thomas Moor and Margaret Blakey) on Aug 2, 1828 at All Saints Church in Newcastle.  Since parents names were not inlcuded in the marriage document (or where they?) I am having difficulty with his parents names.

There are three or four family trees uploaded to Ancestry.com that show him with different sets of parents; William Scott/Mary Ord, Thomas Scott/Ann Gills and John Scott/Hannah Scott.  If anyone is researching this family or has access to records that may clarify the parents, I would greatly appreciate the help.  I have John and Frances in the census from 1841-1871 with their children.  I believe John may have died in July 1870 as Frances is shown as a widow in the 1871 census.  Their children were; Thomas b. 1828, Eleanor b. 1831, William b. 1834, Robert b. 1836, Joseph b. 1838 an Margaret b. 1841.

Thank you,
Patty (from Chicago)

Hi Jane -
I do show an Ann Clark in my database who married Giles Pickney born July 17 1812 and married Oct 1 1837 and they had 6 children.  Her father, George Clark was my 4th great grandfather.

Please email me at Patty0802@aol.com to discuss further.

Thanks,

Geoff-

I think we are from the same family.  Perhaps we can communicate through our personal emails.
I am patty0802 (AT) aol.com

I am currently working with 4 other Clark researchers of this family tree and we would certainly welcome you aboard to help put the pieces together!

Look forward to exchanging info.  Did I see your family tree on Ancestry.com?

Hi -

I just discovered this wonderful site while looking for information the Same Family !  I live in the Chicago area and can only do research via the internet.  I am also looking for the family unit of George Clark/Mary Aubony.  I believe their daughter Cornelia Mary born 1823 is my 3rd great grandmother.  I am trying to verify the details of her parents George Clark born about 1781 and Mary Aubony born about the same time.  I found this on the IGI at FamilySearch.org:

England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975"
Name:    Mary Aubony
Gender:    Female
Christening Date:    25 Apr 1781
Christening Place:    Lynn, Norfolk, England
Father's Name:    Lawson Aubony
Mother's Name:    Elisabeth Aubony

The name Lawson is the clue because many of the Clark men were named Henry Lawson Clark from 1845 to the early 1900's.  I was hoping this is the clue I needed to connect the Clark Family.  George Clark is still a mystery since it is difficult to find records before 1800.

I think George and Mary Aubony had the following children from I have been able to find so far:
They married Feb 23 1800 ?  Elizabeth born 1800,  Ann born 1807,  Cornelia Mary born 1823 (Big Gap here!), Mary 1830 and Thomas Rutherford born 1834.  Did Mary have children for 34 years???
Maybe I am mixing two families?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Kind Regards
Patty
