Can anyone tell me where I would find historical information about the "Black Bull" pub in Sutton, Keighley, particularly a list of past innkeepers and perhaps an image. One of my ancestors was the resident inn keeper there in 1901 and it would be interesting to have a little more information.

Thanks for trying to help. I have previously contacted the newspapers you mentioned and they couldn't find any reference to it nor could I find how to obtain the coroners report. However, it may be worthwhile contacting the Bingley library as you suggest.

For three years now I have been trying to find where my grandfather William Raper who died 27 June 1936 is buried. I have his death certificate which shows that he died in Bingley, he died as a result of an accident and an inquest was required, the coroner was Edgar Wood, coroner for Craven. I have had the following cemeteries etc checked and his name is not there: Bingley cemetery; Nab Wood cemetery; Bingley Parish Church. It is possible that he may be buried in Shipley which was not too far from where he lived in Bingley but I don't know how to access resources for cemeteries and churches in Shipley. Can someone help please.

Not sure if this is the correct board to use but I need to use the services of a private researcher to archives in the Wakefield Archives office. Two years ago I had a guy who did excellent work for me but I have lost touch with him, he possibly changed his email address. Can anyone suggest some good researchers who live close by the Wakefield Archives area whose charges are reasonable, also preferably someone who has a paypal facility or similar.

A number of my ancestors came from Bingley and I wonder if anyone has monumental inscriptions for Bingley cemeteries or could tell me the best place to find them. The names I am looking for are Harrison and Rainford.
