What other details do you have about this man or his family that would help distinguish him?

Do you know his date of birth, place of birth, his parents names, the names and date of birth of his children. his date of death and place of death, any street address where he was known to have lived?

It's difficult to figure out what you are asking for and why.  When you say "publish" do you mean is a decedent's individual will or documents from the probate file--are they published in a local newspaper?  No.

If you were to mention who you are looking for probate information on and the date of their death and the city state where they died, we can direct you to a more specific place to look.

What state did the person live in?

You may want to direct your query to the Reference Department of the New York Public Library if you can narrow the scope of your question to a particular state.

You could also order the death certificate for $21.00.  It will show her last known address and the name of the informant (the person who reported the death), which will be specific clues to assist you with further research.

What information were you expecting to get from the obituary notice?

Obituary notices for regular members of the general public, in most instances, do not appear in the Los Angeles newspaper.

If you want information on a different Samuel Swinnerton, then please post whatever details you have (date of birth, name of spouse, parents, children, and place of birth and city/states where he was known to have lived).

Sandra, sometimes the naturalization records are indexed in an odd or unusual way.  In this instance, Walter Prout's card or application came up because it also had Frances' name on it, and thus a match when the search was done.  If your database shows a photo of the naturalization form, if you will look at the application that comes after or before the application you are looking at, you can see the application of a relative.  Frances' application appeared just before Walter's.

Since this is a somewhat common name, please furnish additional information if you have it about her parents' names and her husband's name.

Your request needs to be more specific.  Exactly what type of information are you looking for?
