Census Lookup and Resource Requests / 1881 Scotland Census Look up for William Walker (Seaman) & Mary Walker Nee Bruce

Hi,

I am looking for the above, have found the family in 1871 census living at !5 Yeats Lane, Aberdeen. Says Mary Walker born 1833 (Seaman wife), not showing a William, there is a Andrew Walker born 1870 and an Alexandrina born 1866 in Aberdeen.

Would love to hear if anyone has any information

Wondered if any one could help on the above. I have found a William George Terrey on the 1881 census with father's name the same born in 1847 in Southwark. Living in Newington, Surrey. Would like to know if this the father of the above.

Family History Beginners Board / George Hardiman 1817 and Elizabeth Webb

Hi

George Hardiman above died in 1871 in Southwark. On 1881 census showing Elizabeth is married to Charles H Honers. It looks like he married is sister in law, his first wife was a Webb too. I believe George Hardiman parents are Thomas Hardiman 1776 Newington and Harriet Pledge. So far I have found John Hardiman 1801, Eliza Hardiman 1804, Robert Henry Hardiman 1817 and George 1817. Does anyone know if there were any more children?

Can you find out in any records why someone was in Prison? Andrew Walker was born in Aberdeen in 1870 and says was in Wakefield Prison 1913. Wondered if you can find out why he was in there and how long for?

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone could help me on the above. If this is the Andrew Gordon Walker born in Scotland in 1870. I know he moved to the area and died in 1936 in Pontefract age 66. I found that a Andrew Walker had married Mary Turner Alton. I would like to know if my grandmother Mary Walker born 1910 in Hemsworth born 24/08/1910 if Mary Turner Alton is her mother and the information I have found is correct. I know that Mary Walker had three sisters, I believe Eliza, Ina and Violet. Does any one have any details.

Family History Beginners Board / Anyone know any information on Aaron James and Lucy Smith of Pontefract?

Hi there,

I would like to hear from anyone who as any information Aaron James born 1890 of Staffordshire who married Lucy Smith of Pontefract 1911. Had a son called Aaron James born 19/5/1911. Unfortunately Lucy died I believe in 1912 and have been informed by my mother, his grandma Smith brought Aaron up. The Smith name was then added to his name Aaron James Smith. Aaron James Smith married Mary Walker in December 1930. There is another marriage to a Leah Kennedy and Aaron James of Pontefract 1914 don't know if this is the same one.

Hope someone out there, can help me

Hi,

I wondered it anyone could help me? I am looking for the parents of Richard Tallett born circa 1795 Newnham, Northamptonshire.He married Ann Maria Russell who died in 1827 and married his second wife was Sarah Higgs 6th of June 1828 Newnham.
