Would like to find the mother of John Wood, born  30th April1828 St Lukes Finsbury.  Father William Wood Shoemaker and Mother Martha?  When John Wood age 21 married in Elizabeth Hardie in 1848 address given  2 Shrewsbury Court Whitecross.  1861 census 17 reform place finsbury only  William age 58 is father is with him.  Would like to find out more about Martha if possible

found that Maria Gathercole married Christopher Scotten and had a  Alfred Scotten  Christopher Scotten born circa 1805 buried 1836 St Clements Danes, Middlesex.  1841 census Maria must be Louisa Wood's sister in law.  On 1851 census Alfred is shown as nephew.  So Christopher and Louisa must be siblings

That's in the right direction, can't find a Maria Wood marrying a Gathercole at the moment, will look in another day, getting tried now.

I Have a Louisa Wood in 1851 with an Alfred Scotten age 17 says Nephew.  1841 census have Louisa Wood  with a Maria Scotten age 30 at Farringdon Street.

 Christopher Scotten married Maria Gathercole  10 Aug 1829 St Andrews London.
Alfred Scotten baptism St Clements Danes ,Westminster, Middlesex 23/08/1833

Would like to know if Maria was a widow when she married Christopher? Or where the connection is?

John Wood is 42  a bootmaker with his wife Elizabeth 45 and 2 children Caroline 11, Esther  13.  I know Esther married John Randall in Aug 1876

John Wood 31 St Lukes With wife Elizabeth Wood 35 at Reform Place, Middlesex with Elizabeth Age 12 St Lukes and Caroline age 1  and says Hector 3 but this should read Esther

Caroline Wood born 7/03/1860 would like to find her spouse

Elizabeth Wood 8/03/1849 Finsbury Would like to find her spouse
