Hi,
I would like to know if anyone could help me on the above. If this is the Andrew Gordon Walker born in Scotland in 1870. I know he moved to the area and died in 1936 in Pontefract age 66. I found that a Andrew Walker had married Mary Turner Alton. I would like to know if my grandmother Mary Walker born 1910 in Hemsworth born 24/08/1910 if Mary Turner Alton is her mother and the information I have found is correct. I know that Mary Walker had three sisters, I believe Eliza, Ina and Violet. Does any one have any details.

Hi there,
I think this is the Lucy James I am looking for. Don't know her parent names though. My mother said the Aaron James born in May 1911 was her father and that his grandma Smith brought him and the Smith name was added to his name. The James family were not happy with this. Just wondered it anyone out there is linked?

I would like to hear from anyone who as any information Aaron James born 1890 of Staffordshire who married Lucy Smith of Pontefract 1911. Had a son called Aaron James born 19/5/1911. Unfortunately Lucy died I believe in 1912 and have been informed by my mother, his grandma Smith brought Aaron up. The Smith name was then added to his name Aaron James Smith. Aaron James Smith married Mary Walker in December 1930. There is another marriage to a Leah Kennedy and Aaron James of Pontefract 1914 don't know if this is the same one.
Hope someone out there, can help me

Are you certain Richard was b newnham ? Or was it just his wife who was born there and they married there??

Ann Maria Russell was born in Newnham 1794. Died 1827. on the Archives site. Richard Tallett some say born 1790 0r born 1795. It's definitely Northamptonshire. Can only find marriage to Sarah Higgs 6th June 1828 Newnham. Richard and Ann Maria had a son Henry born 1818 in Newnham. (christened there 29/11/1818). He married Caroline Wilden who had a son called Joseph born 1848. Joseph married Catherine Ingham who then had a son called Benjamin 1879. Benjamin married Phyliss Mason. They had a son called Clifford Tallett 1914. Clifford Tallett married Mary Winifred Edwards. They had a son called John Clifford Tallett. John Clifford Married Marlene James Smith who had four children and I am one of them. I have already found the parents of Ann Maria Russell and her siblings, I just am drawing a blank on Richard Tallett. Hope you can help? Are you from the Tallett family?

I wondered it anyone could help me? I am looking for the parents of Richard Tallett born circa 1795 Newnham, Northamptonshire.He married Ann Maria Russell who died in 1827 and married his second wife was Sarah Higgs 6th of June 1828 Newnham.

Sarah Tallett born about 1833 Newnham Mother was Sarah Higgs born 1792 and Father Richard Tallett born circa 1795. confirms Richard is Father. Family search.org shows marriage 6th June 1828 Newnham. His first wife was called Ann Maria Russell born Newnham 1794 to 1827. My maiden name was Amanda Tallett. Richards first wife Ann Maria Russell had son called Henry born 1818 that's where I descend from.
