-Address of James McCauley

Since a name has not been provided I'm assuming the child was gravely ill?

Mayo / John O'Malley
« on: Saturday 22 April 17 16:29 BST (UK)  »
I found the attached death record for John O'Malley and I'm trying to determine if he's my relative. I think it reads that his location at death is Cushlecka which corresponds with my family. It mentions his daughter as being Mary Ann and I'd like to find a birth record for her which would hopefully tell me her mother's name. From there I'd like to see if I can get a marriage record that would confirm John's parent's names. Then I'd know if he's my John. Also having difficulty reading the info in box #8. Can anyone kindly help me with this? TIA

Louth / Margaret Byrne birth record
« on: Monday 10 April 17 23:24 BST (UK)  »
The wedding record I have for Margaret Byrne and Patrick Smith in Dundalk on 08 July 1867, states that Margaret's age was 21, which would mean that she was born abt 1846. Her census' state that she was born in Ireland and Dragheda.

However, the only Drogheda birth records I can find are at St. Peter's in 28 Nov 1852 and another in 04 Dec 1842. I know that her father's name was Michael but I don't know her mum's name. So now I'm wondering if there's was a legal minimum age for marriage that would have made her lie about her age? I know I'm grasping at straws but I don't know of any way to prove/find her birth details.
