Hello everyone I posted a thread to find my relation Gwendoline Sutton but through another person I have found that there was a boy born1878 Alfred Edward Sutton ,for some reason he was brought up by the Sutton Family not his mother Julia Ann Sutton nee Turner No one in the family can remember him at all  he lived with his uncle Henry Sutton and his 5 children at Sutton's Crossing Sutch Lane LATHOM he moved to Wales when 13 and is down as being adopted by his mothers aunt although his mother was still alive,he emigrated to Canada in 1921 after coming home from the war  he served in the Welsh Guards and he has down as his next of kin his Aunt in Wales, are there any Sutton's out there who know of the Sutton History I would dearly love to hear from them Thanks Bernadine

thank you so much but what a can of worms now,I think Julia ann was widowed in 1901 after 4 yrs marriage  where does the williams come from I have Gwens B/Cert and it states Iowerth Sutton as father Not EDWARD whom she did marry,I think Iowerth must of been made up for the cert,I see Gwen is left with her Uncle Julia anns BrotherWilliam Alfred Turner and  a lot more Turners of whom I knew nothing!! there must be a lot of Turners living in St Helens I wonder why there is no mention of Julia ann on the cen why would she leave a 5 mth old baby in the care of her brother? I dont know where to find Julia ann in 1911 carnt see her on the cen at all   thanks Bernadine
