Only just got your message as I've been on holiday.
This certainly looks as though this is the family I've been searching for.
Thanks so much for finding them. this has been on the back-burner for so long, I'd given up hope.
Have you got any details about David Henderson that you can send me.
Although it says Aberdeen I would still like anything you can find.
I've found lots of discrepancies on censuses in the past, and realised that you have to explore all possibilities.

Hi June,
I remember looking for your Mary Murphy a few years ago and checked out the Scandinavian Churches in Liverpool but found nothing.
I've been told that St Anthonys in Scotland Road Liverpool, hold alot of Irish records, what these entail I'm not sure, but maybe someone can get you the site for st Anthonys. I think it might be on something with Hinernia in the name.

Just spoke to my husband and he remembers meeting Bernard Smith at Eva's funeral a few years ago, along with 2 of Bernard's sisters.

Hi Iria,
Just saw your message about Norris and I think you could be looking for the same family as my son and I have been looking for.
This is my husbands family.
My husbands mother was Margaret Norris, she had brothers named Peter, Bernard and John, and sisters named Winifred and Eva. Winifred married John Smith.

Hi Iria,
My son got the details of the marriage you wanted while I was on holiday, unfortunately the machine he was on didn't have a printer attached, but I'll try and get you a photocopy of the certificate over the next few weeks.
Details as follows

Marriage was 14th August 1853
William Lyon aged 34, Widower, occupation Carver and Guilder, address was 61, Trowbridge Street.
Mary Harold aged 32, Spinster, no occupation, address was 11, Great Homer Street.
Father was John Lyon occupation Book Keeper
Father was John Harold, occupation, Gentleman.
Witnesses were Elizabeth Emma Harold and John Harold.

Could Elizabeth be the sister in law of Mary?
