I am looking for John Lane b. 1787 in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Labourer.  In the 1861 he was living at Nell Lane, Wednesfield and in the 1841 he was living at Church Street, Wednesfield.

He would hopefully be with his wife Ann Lane b. 1795 Wednesfield and children.

You are a wonder Tricia.  Thanks once again for the hard and amazingly fast work.

I wonder if you would mind me being cheeky and seeing if you could have a look at the 1861 census and seeing if there is a family of Thomas and Elizabeth Spellman with their sons Thomas and John?  (see the data of the 1871 census)

I am looking for Abraham Spellman and family, he was born in approx. 1864 in Bilston Staffs.

  • His father Thomas Spellman (died before 1881)
  • His mother Elizabeth Spellman nee? Born approx. 1833 Bilston, Staffordshire who may have married a William Hanley following the death of Thomas Spellman.
  • His brother George Spellman born approx. 1867 Darlaston, Staffordshire

I would also be interested in finding Abraham Spellman and family in the 1891 census
