Hi

I am looking for Emma Crabtree in the 1851 census she was born in Yorkshire but her sister was born in Manchester, Lancashire in 1848 so I think they are probably in Lancashire.

Emma Crabtree b. abt 1844. Siblings are Richard b. 1846 Yorkshire, Sarah Ann b. 1848 Manchester, John b. 1850 Manchester. Fathers name is quite strange Fowles Crabtree unsure of his birth possibly 1811.  Mother is Jane born about 1827 Staffordshire.

I went to Manchester Central Library a few years back and looked at every Crabtree I could find but there were some damaged folios and I think that they probably appear on there.  I just wanted to check, of course they may be in a different part of the country.

I hope someone here can help with a slightly unusual look up.

I am looking for a relative of mine who I am told went to the University of Cambridge but I know very little of the details, ie I am not sure of the dates or even which college.  Here is what I know about him

Name: George Chapman
Date of Birth: 31 October 1867   
Place of Birth: Burwell, Cambridgeshire

1901 Census says he is an assistant school master in Hove, Sussex

I hope this is enough information to help you find him in the Cambridge University records.

I am looking for the following family in the 1891 census in Staffordshire:

Head: Jacob Lane b. abt 1831
Wife: Susanna Lane b. 1838

Hopefully there will be children with them.
