What does MDES mean? The Family search tree I sent first is not connected to our tree and the problem sending an attachment you have to downsize the file so that is why they came through all over the place!

You should not put a seed in my head !
After all this is a hobby??I have traced DAVID and PRUDENCE back to GWILYM GAM FYCHAN born in Wales in 1835 and then I had to stop and give our Irish relies a chance?
This is not a Family tree its a forest!...bye...M

searchr, have attached my version of the family tree....see if you agree?...there are a lot of duplicated names there and I believe my Family Search one I sent you is not part of the same tree!...it took me a while to wade through it but I think it is OK...Medusa

Aghadowey,Hi I never take online records as gospel ,that is why I am going on this mad journey!
ALEXANDER CRAWFORD BLAIR and ROBERT JAMES BLAIR were the two who migrated to Brisbane and I am assuming MARGRET JANE's religion was Church of Ireland as it is listed in both  the 1901/1911 census.
I have checked the Scotish births several times and have come up with many JOHNs-ALEXANDERs-ALEXANDER JOHNs and JOHN ALEXANDERs not to mention how many JOHN STEWART's there are ....but no MARGRET JANE BLAIR which makes me think that MARGARET JANE was not JOHN ALEXANDER's mother.
There is of course a few STEWART/BLAIR marriages in Northern Ireland between 1880-1887 in various districts..Medusa
