World War One / Which regiment would these relatives be please

I am hoping someone may be able to tell me which regiment my Grandad (sitting) and his brother were in please.  Henry Stephen and Frederick George Young.

The Common Room / R.E.M.E how to find my Uncle

I am hoping someone may be able to point me in right direction,  I am looking for my Uncle, Albert C Essex born 1914 in Ramsgate, but I cannot find his army records, I have been told he moved to London to be with my Aunt Dorothy Elms where she worked in munitions during WW2.
We do know he did not see active service but was part of R.E.M.E.  I have tried Ancestry, FindMyPast, and the forces website but no luck.

I am trying to research this family, Sarah is my husbands grandmother and though I have found the family in Pennsylvania I cannot find much at all on Sarah, I would love to go further back and wonder if you would share info as I believe we are related by marriage into this family
