Perhaps, but I don't think so Audrey.
The James I seek is shown in shipping records as born about 1823.
James & Agnes migrated to Australia in 1863.

And, no, JA.
The Agnes I seek was born 1827 in Kirkpatrick Durham.
The James from Crossmichael would seem to be too young.

Somerset Completed Lookup Requests / Re: 1851 - Wellington - Blackmore

Kris:

Thank you for the interest.
I hope you enjoy the challenge.

Daughter Jane was born in 1842, in West Buckland - from death certificate.
"According to the family", John was usually called John Richard
& was born about 1816
but I am provided with no information about his wife Jane.
Their residence is variously described as Wellington which is the census district,
West Buckland which was the location of the church,
or Hemyock which is actually in Devon but still part of the Wellington district.

Is someone able to find the family of
John & Jane Blackmore in the Wellington 1851 census please.
I expect it to include at least daughters Mary & Jane.

Thanks.

Thank you.
That helps a little, but I had hoped to see my g^3-grandmother
-  Anne Morley, b 1836 -
at Matthew & Sarah address in 1851.
I wonder where she was?

hmm
Never mind.
It does help unravel some of the other Morleys thereabouts.

thank you
We progress - 'tis the correct family as I see there my g^4-father John.

Now - I dare ask - is there also an entry in Tithby cum C-B for Matthew & Sarah Morley?

I am seeking details of James Robison & Agnes (née Barclay) who were married in 1854 in Kirkpatrick Durham.
Does anyone know when or where James was born?

Lanarkshire / 1881 census please - Mckenzie, Peter & Jessie

Since there are kind people who do this sort of thing . . .
please will someone check for the household of Peter & Jessie McKenzie in Glasgow during the 1881 census.
"According to the family", they & their daughter Jamesina (b 1879) lived there prior to migrating1 to Australia a few years later.

Thanks.

Wendy,

I may have another/deeper connection for you.
"According to the family", Janet McGeorge married John Barclay c1810.
Their daughter Agnes is one of my great^3-grandmothers.
She married a James Robison & moved to Australia.
