Gosh, thank you! I notice a discrepancy with Sarah's age between the two census. Is there any way I can check? Great info anyway. Thanks so much!

Hi Shanghaipanda - I think Indidn't do my reply correctly. Thank you for sending that tree & it is definitely the same family with interesting detail. Still some mysteries for me to solve as I am linked to Cochrane, eldest son of Daniel Jnr & Catharine. Where did you find this? That's terrific!! Thanks!

Thank you Forfarian. We only found Edwards date of death via Rootschat & have copy of Will where Eliza is mentioned. And learnt that he died in Blantyre. He & Jane Graham brought my husbands mother Jean to NZ 1925. She was given to them by the father & never knew the true story until aged 50 - after her 'Mum' Jane died & Edward lived with them. He told her in a very unkind manner then took off back to West Coast from Christchurch & changed his Will to exclude Jean. My husband understood that he went to a woman on the West Coast of NZ & we had no idea when or where he died. Rootschat has solved the mystery for us.

Thank you Ev. Edward Graham came from Blantyre & died in Blantyre so that fits. Any info of the name of his parents?
