Thank you very much both of you for all the interesting facts you have found for me about Patty Kramer.  I intend to make a visit to Luton in the not too distant future and visit the library and look at the addresses |I have for her.  I also await the copies of the wills which should be here at the beginning of July.  My main reason for finding out about her was to try and pass on some lovely photos I have of her but this may not be possible.  Perhaps she will remain an enigma and I'll know I've tried my best.  Thank you.

Is it usual to ask for any claimants to an estate when there is a will? Also thank for your help and the information regarding the hospital where Walter died.  Is there any way I can find out who was living in the house in Crawley Green Road in Luton where Patty died in 1958 as it wasn't her home address?

Patty was probably on her own in Poole as Walter had died in 1935.  Perhaps she had gone there during the beginning of the war to escape from London. Patty was my father's aunt but he didn't talk much about his family so I have no information about her apart from some photos taken with my grandmother (her eldest sister) who died in 1922.

Walter & Patty Kramer married at Christchurch in Luton.  The witnesses were Ann Cox ( Patty's Mother) Arthur Readhead  ( her brother in law married to Alice nee Cox) and Emma Jane Cox ( her sister), Rose Emery and Florence Mary Bowen.  I don't know who these last two were. Thank you for your help.  I have sent for Walter's will.

Walter Kramer was a mercantile clerk when he married.  His father's name was John Kramer and he was a chemist.

I thank everyone for their posts.  I'm going to investigate whether either Patty or  Walter Kramer made wills.  I would like to find out if they had any children. Patty Kramer was my geat aunt.

Yes this is her marriage and she died in Luton 1958.  That is all I've been able to find.  I cannot find her on 1901 or 1911 censuses or on 1939 register.
