on the page AFTER Alice's 1911 census sheet is that enumerator page and it says the head of the family or separate occupier is Mr Dean PIKE

just to add to the possibilities confusion, she may have more than one stage name. I have a distant twig who had 5 in the early 20th century. And if she married her husband may have been an actor and he may have had various pseudonyms too!

Added 1911 has Alice Pike's birth pace as Durrington, Wiltshire not Daglingworth, Gloucestershire

Zita Inez PONDER married Edward R CARTER 1934 Westminster 1a 1224 Dec qtr
If that is the same woman she died as Zita I. R. CARTER in 1936 and age is 35 which gives a calculated dob of 1901 which is 17 years out compared with 1884.
Her marriage certificate would presumably give the correct PIKE name for her father if that is Alice and she is REALLY guilding the lily regarding her age??

Zita Inez PONDER wrote a book published in 1927, The Bandaged Face, an authors site online says she was born Inez Marcia R PONDER 1900-1936
so I think safe to say Alice PIKE is not Zita Inez PONDER

Someone from the society of genealogists posted this
“A major hole has appeared in Ancestry searches, which means that many of their UK parish birth records will not be found unless you search specific databases.
If you use a general Ancestry search for a birth/baptism, or even drill down to their category "Birth, Baptism & Christening", the results will only bring up records which specify a BIRTH. Those records which only specify a BAPTISM will not be found. As we know, a larger proportion of parish birth records are actually baptisms, so searches like these will miss a significant number of results.
I believe this has only happened in the last few months, during which Ancestry has been making significant changes to its IT infrastructure. I am not sure they have properly picked up on this.
If you know the likely parish, or Ancestry database collection (eg. a county parish record set) then searches of those still work fine, and bring up all the baptisms as well.

birth year.

In the second photo she looks quite self conscious which suggests to me maybe it is a photo of the first time she is wearing “grown up clothes” . When did that tend to happen? Age 16? I wish she was smiling more as the girl in the group photo has such a good crease in her cheek it would be good to compare.
I think their noses are similar.
