In the electoral rolls 1903-1906 she is Laura Constance Cliffe, 58 and 59 Surrey Lodge Buildings - same address as "Rachel" in the 1901 census

That's interesting I've found the electoral rolls but I've only got transcripts of the censuses so it's looking more likely that Laura, Louise and Rachel are one of the same.

To confuse things even more Laura becomes Louise in 1891...

No idea who and when she married or died. Have all the details for her children from birth onwards, their mmn was Tissot. Any help appreciated.

Sorry - typo! Born and baptised 1851.

Do you want me to look for the family further back? I won't have a lot of time until Monday, but we have quite a lot of info on the Tissot and Nicolet families, who are vaguely related to my husband.

Nothing on Rachel for the moment - the canton of Neuchâtel borders on France, so some families unsurprisingly spill over into the Doubs département (and further afield).

It would be great if you could find any more information, I've tried online with the info you gave but not having much luck. No hurry and thank you.
Added,
Forget about Rachel, just found out that she is in fact Laure-Constance with name, dob and nationality wrong.

Laure-Constance Tissot was born on 4 December 1853 and baptised on 27 December 1851 at La Sagne in the canton of Neuchâtel. Her parents were Frédéric-Henri Tissot (son of Jean-Frédéric Tissot) and Elise Nicolet (daughter of Frédéric-Louis Nicolet).

Juliette-Léa was Laure's sister: she was born on 26 March 1850 and baptised on 11 May 1850 at La Sagne.

I can dig up more info on the family given a bit of time - this info is from baptismal registers and the card index system in the cantonal archives.

Wow, Thank you so much, your a star.  I take it born 1851 baptised 1853. Any more info would be very welcome. any thing on Rachel Tisot? Although the census says she was born in France I believe Neuchâtel belonged to France at some time so she may have considered herself French. The fact that she married a Cliff the same as Laure makes me think she also maybe the same family. Her records in the uk are a bit sparse to say the least, I've found all her children but not a marriage so I don't know who this Cliff guy was. Thank you again for your help.

I am trying without much success to help someone find the birth record of their great, great grandmother.
The name Laure Constance Tissot, according to the 1881 uk census she was born 1853 Switzerland.
She married Henry Cliff in 1879, Nottinghamshire and died 1905 Lambeth, London. Also has her birth name listed as Laurie and Laura. On her marriage cert her father is listed as Henry Fredrick Tissot and there is a loose link on another document that suggests that she may of been born in Neuchatel.

Also looking for Juliette Lea or Lea Juliette Tissot born c1850/52 according to census's, she married Anatole Mclchior Journet in 1873, Westminster, London and died in 1909. Maybe sister.

Also a mystery lady, Rachel Cliff,(nee Tissot), born 1859 France.
We have all the information after their respective marriages but can't find any birth records or information on when they entered the uk.

Many thanks.
