Awesome submissions so far! I'm really ecstatic with them!

@japeflakes, subtle and clean, thanks!

@Handypandy, love how it is extremely clean (looks like a HD version of the original!) and really a positive surprise on the "missing part". I'd like to see Luzia appear a little less "lean" on the missing part, if that's at all possible. Seems to me that a "rounder" figure would make it perfect.

@Mike, I feel yours is nicely balanced, and I love Luzia's figure on this one, seems "full" and realistic. Would it be possible to retouch the stone pillar's edge just a bit? It kinda looks "cut" in some places. Still, awesome  :)

Hi everyone!

My girlfriend recently discovered an extraordinary picture of her great-grandmother Luzia and her parents.
The picture is missing a portion on Luzia's side. I'd really love to see it restored, "filling" the gap as good as possible.

I have a .tif with 1200 ppi in google drive here, if it helps: https://goo.gl/MkvYY4
The attached JPEG is only 600 ppi.

Thanks in advance!
Filipe

So many great restorations! Fantastic. Thank you all  :)

@Andy: Love this last one!

@dafydd46: Like the progress so far!

@MartynS: This one surprised me - I actually like the fact that the deep black helps conceive flaws in the original picture; makes it feel more natural to me. IMHO, maybe the sillouette in the far right is too "curvy", but just a small detail.

Andy, thank you for again sending that "previous" version. Indeed I overall like that one better  :)

Again, I really love both your restorations and I'm trully grateful for the time you spent helping me out. Made my day!

Amazing work!

@Handypandy: Did you post another version early? I am almost certain I saw a version that is different from that one you posted last. If so, can you please post it again as well?

@ymfoster: I really love the detail that you were able to preserve from the original picture!

Thank you both!  :)

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate it if someone could restore a picture from the Leiras family in Barcelos, Portugal, taken in the 1930s.

Cheers
