Hey Nova/Jac/Lily,

It appears that there are 4 cemeteries in Parkside not sure if any are buried there.  Parkside is a very small village so there may not be a town office there.

If you are looking for a burial it may be helpful to check out Shellbrook funeral home (about 10 minutes up the highway  :) ) they may be able to point you in the right direction.

or the other one:

Happy hunting:

Forgot one thing:

http://www.saskgenealogy.com/databases/cummins/nm_Cummins.php

This has some of the smaller villages, etc. that don't exist anymore... Through the years of progress in Saskatchewan a lot of the smaller communities have gone extinct by numerous reasons or people moving away from the area.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

Hey Mazzie,

I found them, Saskatchewan, Humboldt, Sub-District 40, p. 7....

How I found them:

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~skwheat/

Quill Lake is Twnship 36, 16, W2

Then I looked to see if Henry had a homestead (farmland), found a Henry James Jones Twnship 38, 16, W2 which is close by:

All else fails, you can try

Hey cosmic, Sami, Nick,

I saw your post and thought I'd throw my hat into the fray.  I live in Saskatoon and was able to vist Woodlawn cemetery which verifies the information.

Martin Howard is buried at what looks like a single plot in 7RC 1861-1940.  The strange thing is that behind his grave lies the grave of James and Alice Hall, James birth is listed on the stone as 1866-1938 (could be a brother???).

Anne his wife is buried a few sections away in 39RC as 'Anne Cecilia Hall' 1881-1972. Her obituary is online here:

http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=3eDEwZmXtlkC&dat=19720508&printsec=frontpage&hl=en

It verifies the marriage record for Mr. Hall, her brother are buried in Woodlawn as well as there are 6 listed in the phone book here:

http://Http://www.canada411.ca

I did take my camera with me and have pictures of the Hall graves but not the Kavanagh's...

Hope this helps.
