Hi everyone
I would like to write my family history, I am thinking it might be a lot easier with a computer programme.  because i just look at my computer screen not knowing how to start.

i have all my info in a date line. but no body to the stories.

Has anyone got a favourite programme they use.

many thanks
cheers  Ann

I am writing my family history into a story.

My dad would get an invite by the Lord Major to a day out,
think it was at Small Brook Park, Aston? Birmingham?  got on a bus to get there,  got a bag with a cake, bun, drink and a present , played games, clowns were there..

He also got invites from the police, who would give them clogs to wear ??

Can any one ad to this, or correct it  ..as my dad is not with us any more,  so I can't ask him.

many thanks

hi everyone

I was lucky enough to see a lot of the family details written on a ration book 1940's

so I knew there was a Annie Oliver  and found her in electoral roll 1900
there was Gustavius Augustine  and Samuel john 1873  his spelling was wrong

thank you so much everyone,  it just helps to have someone to talk it thru when you look at something for to long

thank you  xx

just looking at certs and at his daughters death  they had his name as Burke not Edward,
but i was searching for all O'Hanrahan, ohanrahan  or Hanrahan   didnt see a Burke
