Hi Folks,
I,m Charles Dillon / Jane Kyle . Great Grand daughter.
My Mothers father was Charles Dillon he married Catherine Quinn from Moyaver, then Kilcroagh , Armoy , they had 2 sons Charles (Charley) and Patrick (Paddy), 2 girls Mary , my mother and Elizabeth (Lizzie).
Charles and Jane had a large family, not all of them survived.
Henry -- Died young.
James Daniel -- emigrated to New Zealand Married Ellen Mc Ilroy from Magherahoney They had 10 children.
Charles -- My Grandfather -- married Catherine (Kate) Quinn , had 2 boys , Charles (Charley) , Patrick (Paddy), 2 girls Mary Teresa (My Mother) ,married 3 sons and a daughter moi, Elizabeth (Lizzie ) married 2 sons , 4 girls.
John -- Died young ? 13 yrs.
Jane -- Married John Mc Mullan , a Shoemaker from Magherahoney , had a son and 4 girls.
Mary -- Emigrated to USA, married ? Tracey , he was from Co Cavan, no children.
Elizabeth (Elisa) -- Married Daniel Morgan from Craiganee , Ballintoy, had a son ,John.
Sarah -- Married Daniel Kinney from Magherahoney, no family.
Margaret ( Maggie ) -- Died 12ys from Epistaxis, (bleeding nose).
The majority of this info was given to me by my late Uncle Charley Dillon, hope this helps.
