When you say townland I.E. do you mean pettigo I'm in England so we would call it bristol or somerset county etc.

As regards his birth his daughter Anne I think she was born around 1851 so I asumme he was at least 20 years younger. I'll send some other info I got it might be something that you recognise

Hi this is a slim chance but I notice your talking about Boston, my great aunt emigrated to Boston from Glasgow with her six children they arrived in 1910 her name was Mary Drummond ( nee O'Donnell) her husband was Alex, maybe it's possible she has grandchildren etc still alive and could help in my search on O'Donnell family.

Thanks

Donegal / Edward Slevin and Anne Slevin nee thomas donegal

Hi I've tried a few things but no luck does anyone have any info on Edward and Anne Slevin nee Thomas, I think they're from killymard but I've got a feeling around 1873 Anne was in ardnagasson,Edward was registered as a farmer at his daughters wedding.

They had a daughter also ann who married Arthur O'Donnell in 1871 in pettigo although I believe they were in that area for work?

Any info greatly appreciated as I've hit brick wall, maybe Edward and Anne had other children?

Many thanks oranges

Also I must apologise if I gave wrong info before, it seems more than likely that my great great grandfather John O'Donnell was in fact from Donegal possibly Donegal town and not from limerick and not married to hanora Dawson, in fact I'm trying to find out who he was married to.

Sorry for any inconvenience in my defence it's hard when you don't know where to start and your hopeless on computers

That's great thanks, it ties in, your right Arthur I think was dead but can't find out when or death cert, I think Anne died in 1922 , if I can locate Arthur's death cert I can then see who his mother was and restart O'Donnell search in Donegal, I was wondering if there's no death record in Glasgow had he returned to Ireland , maybe on a visit and died there.

But thanks for info that's great
