Have you heard of the book by Joseph Kenneth Brown "History of the Browns of Northumberland Northumbrians All" and do you know where I can get it?

Anthony didn't live long bp:28/2/1691 bu: 20/6/1727   36 Yrs. I guess they were a hard 36 yrs given the times.

Hi Radcliff

Internet went down yesterday lost it for most of the day. We spent billions of $$$ on a new and better system, jury is out on that. I guess our forefathers had pigeons to carry messages and they to had problems. Ironical.

Any way back to task: No, do not know their occupations, if you have them would be greatly appreciated. If you don't mind me asking, where do you find details like that?

You also mentioned a will for Edward Brown, which Diocese, is it Durham? posted after I sent the message Had a look good pick. Thanks

I have come across your search and note with interest that some of our names cross paths with mine in the elusive family history data search. I also note the date of the posts being 2014 and was wondering if in your progress over the past years you may be able to fill in some of my missing jigsaw pieces.

I am new to genealogy searching on the internet so please forgive my errs.
My wife initially asked for my help in searching her family tree and has now left the ball in my court.

Like I said I'm new to this, apologies for the heavy post. Thought it was best to show the line I am tracing as the Brown family tree is HUGE with many branches and they all seem to have the same first name (William son of William who had William), so at times can be quite confusing.

Re: familysearch.org, have been using the site but without specific data it's like searching for a proverbial needle in a hay stack and quite often results can be incorrect guess work.

Thanks for taking the time and the pieces to our jigsaw. Dare I say keep them coming.:D
