Sometimes the priest forgets to copy a record on the second registrer. I had the problem once with a burial record.

I thought about that but couldn't find a record mentioning both names. I had a hard time this morning with their website (unlike the last time I used it a couple of months ago).

I don't know why but those names ring a bell. I am pretty sure I have already conducted a research about those people.

Marie Margueritte RABATEL, widow of Claude BERTOL, passed away on November 3d 1769 at the local hospital, exactly 253 years ago.

She is probably a daughter of Jean RABATé and Catherine LAMIE

The christening of Marie Jeanne BERTOL is also recorded in Montreuil (30 DEC 1714). There is a mistake in the record. Her mother is called Marie BEAUREGARD. That's the family name of the godmother Jeanne Catherine BEAUREGARD. Claude BERTOL is a shoemaker apprentice.

In 1720, Claude BERTOL and his wife still lived in Montreuil.

In 1723 also and he was a gaoler then and in 1727 he is a sergeant.

Claude Philippe BERTOL got baptized iin Montreuil on April 10th 1716, same parish
