It's a bit complicated isn't it.
Anyway I  found this, but not sure if it helps.

Deaths

Aug. 10. Lieutenant Alexander Wardrobe, of the 43d regiment, only son of the late Mr David Wardrobe, surgeon in Edinburgh

https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/G73R-8N7

If John WARDROBE is his brother, Alexander WARDROBE (the younger one) is obviously not the only son of David WARDROBE.

Is it common in Scotland to give twice the same Christian name to siblings ?

Thank you. Great finding ! It says Mrs. MARGARET GREENWAY, spouse of John Greenway, Esquire, and third daughter of Mr. David Wardrobe, died at Roseau in the Island of Dominica 6th May 1811.

Probably Dr John GREENWAY, a slave owner in Dominica at the beginning of the 19th century.

Hello,

I am not sure I am posting this in the right place.

Alexandre WANDROBE (VANDROBE and also VARDROBE, WARDROBE) was a trader in Saint-François (Guadeloupe, French West Indies). He passed away in 1810 on the plantation of Mister FRENCH (whose father, John FRENCH, was born in Galway).

https://www.geneanet.org/registres/view/361206/1

According to his death record, he was a native of Scotland in England (I guess that the officer meant in Great Britain).

He was a widower.

His wife died on November 2d 1807 (same place).

Suzanne Marie CLARK, a native of Pilley, "province" of Pudamtpton, England. She was about 39 years old.

The register is a copy

Where is Pilley ? It is the same place as this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilley,_Hampshire ?

Alexander WANDROBE gave her freedom to a slave called Théotisse (also Théotiste), probably in 1793. Her son Jean Baptiste got baptized on July 19th 1793 and the record mentions his manumission three days earlier. In the 1797 census, Theotiste LIBERAL is a steamstress and lives with her three sons and a servant in the village center.

Godfather Alexandre WARDROBE, major de la place et négociant de la ville de Roseau île Dominique (Roseau in Dominica).

Godmother Marie Léone LIBERAL (she is also Jean Baptiste's godmother). Marie Léone LIBERAL is the daughter of André LIBERAL, a trader from Bayonne.

The Charles Winstone letterbook, 1777-1786, contains the business correspondence of Winstone, attorney general and planter in Dominica during and after the American Revolution.

In the list of recipients of letters : Alexander WARDROBE

Is there a way to know more about Alexander WARDROBE (from Edinburgh ?) and his wife Suzanna Mary CLARK ?

I wonder if they married in the West Indies or in England.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. I have already tried familysearch before posting here. No results. MOSCOSO seems to be a Spanish name.

Regards

Hello,

Those records aren't hand-written. You can copy them and then use Google translate or another similar tool.
