Thanks again Wiggy for the additional translation - with your help I have been able to identify the sender as Leonie Loisy living at a house called 'The French Garden' in 1921 - just need to work out if there is any family connection.

Thanks so much for help

This is the back of a postcard sent in 1915 & found in an old family album. I hoping someone will kindly translate the message into English to see if there any clues as the who the people are on the front of the card.

:)

Found the larger one but had to compress to get it down below 500kb

Great to see the larger version - thanks again Gadget. Another lovely addition to the family collection

I think you jinxed me!!

While doing some non-photo work I found that my PC started to play up for no apparent reason and I had to do a 'rebuild'. I then moved to my Mac and started on your photo. This went OK until I came to the final save and it told me that Adobe had lost the display or something like that. I got out and found a small file. I'm not sure where the large ones has gone.

Here they are - a small one and a larger one  - I decided to put them in a more classy setting  ;D

A small and a medium size.

Gadget

Thank you Gadget. You have certainly smartened up their surroundings. Sorry I jinxed you but thanks for persevering. These are lovely restores.
