I'm looking for any help in finding a bapt for a William Frearson/Freeson, He married Esther Tomlin 18 Jun 1780 Peckleton, Leicestershire. His burial Jul 1831 Peckleton states that his birthdate is abt 1749.
His son Charles Frearson my 5th grt grandfather is also listed on records with the name Freeson/Frearson/Freerson
The only record I can find is a William Frearson/Frurson bapt Oct 1750 Breedon on the hill, Leicestershire.
This is possibly my William but I've seen other trees list this William as marrying a Sarah and having children in Worthington, Leicestershire. There is also a burial for a William Frearson Sep 1826 Breedon on the hill, Leic and birthdate is listed as abt 1750 So I assume this is the William who was bapt there 1750?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is an old post but I'm also descended from Harriett Debrox she is my 4th grt grandmother.
I havnt found a bapt for her but I have a 1851 census record for her living as a lodger with the Jennings family in Leicester and listed as Harriett Debberret born abt 1832 Leicester.
I havnt seen the John Debruk baptism 1800 Leicester so that's interesting.
I've had John Debrox/Deborex and Dorothy as her parents and I think Harriett is the Hannah Debrex bapt 1831 Leicester as there isnt a Hannah living with John and Dorothy in Grantham in 1851.

Harriett also lists John Debrox a blacksmith as father on her marriage certificate, this is the same occupation as John deborex.

My reasoning as to why Harriett stayed in Leicester and didn't go to Grantham was that she had already met Thomas franks and stayed in Leicester to be with him.

No one have not seen this family put given place and dates it seems to fit my Jane. May I ask where you found these records as I could find a baptism for a Jane on FindMyPast or Familysearch.

Just so I'm not confusing myself are John, Jane and Sarah children of John and Jane Harold/Harrad or just John?

And Ann, Elizabeth Rachel, Samuel May, Richard were children of Joseph and Jane.

I noticed it says bapt of the roadside was this a place was it literally meant baptised at the side of the road and not in a church? If so was this whilst family was travelling or did they live on roadside.

Edit* just noticed I was confusing myself, John and Jane I assume are Joseph and Jane in regards to first johns bapt

Thank you for your reply, I've just found Ann and William thorne on the 1851 census living in Croft, Leics same place as Jane and Thomas. Ann also lists her birthplace as London and birthdate as abt 1794, So I think they were sisters.

Found a bapt record for a Thomas Holyland 26 Dec 1732 Desford son of William and Mary.
This would tie in with his will in 1803 Desford as it gives the same parents of his brothers Fulshaw and Richard listed in the will.
But ages dont match up unless he married and had a child in his 60s so there must be another generation perhaps?
