Monmouthshire / Margaret Anne Pritchard 1859
« on: Thursday 27 August 20 21:20 BST (UK)  »
Hi I am trying to find the date and place of death of the wife of my 2nd Gt uncle David Hunt (who was born 1868 Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, died 1910 Glamorgan, Monmouthshire)

His wife was Margaret Anne Pewtner (Nee Pritchard) born October Q 1859  Monmouth, Monmouthshire, died circa 1920 in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales.

if I have the correct information Margaret had been married 3 times as follows, and would of been named as Farley, at death?

Marriages for Margaret
1st to Charles Pewtner 1877 Monmouth
2nd to David Hunt 1901 Newport
3rd to John Farley 1910 Maindee, Monmouth.

If anyone can help with the death date, and place, of Margaret or confirmation of the marriages I would be greatful for any information.

TIA
Dave

Hi Carole, yes I had a typo error, as I was rushing to get on my photography webinar. Thanks for pointing it out to me. I have now modified the date. I will also have a look at the census records. I keep forgetting about family search.org. I will have a look.
Thanks again

Roberts 1st marriage was to Margaret Stottisoodi Black, in 1915, in the district of St Mary's, Dundee. Margaret died in 1920

Sorry folks, my mistake with his date of birth, it was 12th January1884. there is no mention of him in the Scottish records after he married my grandmother Charlotte.

I will check FIBIS org, as RGarrad suggested, and see if anything comes out of that

Other Countries / Help Sailed from Liverpool to Calcutta in 1931
« on: Monday 06 July 20 22:15 BST (UK)  »
Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if this is the right place to ask for help?

I am looking for information on Robert Thomas Oram (AKA Robert Oram) He was born in St Clements, Dundee, Scotland on 27th January 1884 to, James Oram and Mary Thoms. He married my Grandmother Charlotte Stewart Wallace, on 14th April 1922, in Dundee, Scotland.

On 3rd June 1922, he sailed from Liverpool Docks to, Calcutta, without his wife Charlotte. She was still alive. He sailed on the ship City of Cairo.

I cannot find any trace of Robert, after he sailed to, Calcutta, India.

I don't know what records are available in India, but, if anyone can help, on my request, no matter how small I would be truly grateful

TIA
Dave
