I have Charles on the 1881, 1891, and 1901.

in 1881 he was lodging next door to his future wife, so this does not give me a link to his parents, could someone please do an 1871 and if poss 1861 to ascertain whi his parents were, there seem to be a choice of 2!

Scotland / Scottish marriage

Phillip harding was born Ipswich abt 1859,

i have him with his family in Ipswich up to 1871
i cannot find him in 1881

but in 1891 he is back living in Ipswich with his wife Elizabeth (born scotland abt 1859)

is there a BMD for scotland, unfortunately i do not know where she was born

and so far i can't find them in 1901 either

i have tried looking ahead to 1891 census but no luck......

by the 1891 census he is still listed a married (but no wife listed)
and has 1 child
also William Brook Barrett bn mar qtr 1883 Woodbridge 4a 803

is there anyway i can find out who he married, or will i need to order certificate

i am researching the family of
Fenning Brook and Ann Elizabeth nee Squirrell
and am a bit confused

on the 1841 census there are 2 chn
elizabeth bn suffolk abt 1838
and
ann bn suffolk abt 1839.

i have found a marriage on free BMD of Fenning and ann in 1842
Shoreditch (Ldn) Vol2 page 350,
so these 2 chn were born before the marriage
by 1851 they have 6chn
inc an Ann Elizabeth bn abt1838, but i cannot find the other child
from the 1841 census,
all the chn were born Coddenham,
so could anyone look at coddenham parish records and see if there were 2 chn born abt 1838, and 1839

by 1851 he is married to Mary?
but i cannot trace his parents or any siblings

Henry Last Born chelmondiston 1806 (according to census info)
according to IGI he was born 1828!!

1841 i think he is a shipmaster living in Plymouth

1851 can't find him?

1861 married(i hope!) and living in Ipswich with wife jane

Jane according to census was born Ipswich 1822/23 approx.

I have looked on IGI and free BMD but cannot find their marriage.
I guessing that as first child was born approx 1852, then they got married about this date.
any ideas  ??? ???

i am trying to find out Jane's maiden name.
