Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get the certificate from the archives!

 I will get Te Aukati’s death certificate and hopefully his parents will be listed there!

Thank you so much! Yes the family came (back) to NZ. I was able to show TeAukatis 87yr old granddaughter a photo of him for the first time!

I was wondering if there would be much information on the Tasmania bdm cd about a marriage or is it just an index?

I have never ordered a certificate from Tasmania before so I’m not sure of the process!

Hi everyone.
Well, there was no stepfather!

The “stepfather” was actually her biological father! Thank to DNA the truth was uncovered ☺️

Rose Francis was actually the daughter of Frances FAULKNER.
She died of birth complications and the informant was none other than Rose Francis who then raised baby Rose.
