Thanks that link is at least giving me some idea of where it is but doesn't recognise most of the marriages.

The Common Room / Help! how do you find the name of the Parish of marriages?
« on: Thursday 16 August 18 08:14 BST (UK)  »
Hi everyone

I am trying to locate my family tree and i have found the Marriages of my family but it only says they are married in Gateshead and not which Parish or the name of the Church :-(

Can anyone help me?  I have 4 that I want to research more thoroughly as I found John James Gray to Catherine McClure (10a 1209) and they were married at St Edmunds but the others below I can't find a record as i was assuming that the 10a part meant they were married in the same places but obviously thats not what it means and its just a page and volume number :-(

John James Gray to Marguerite Naylor Married in Gateshead Dec 1936 (10a 1772)
Mark W Naylor to Jane Rutter Married in Gateshead 1911 (10a 1665)
John Anderson to Henrietta Holder Married in Gateshead Dec 1937 (10a 1683)
Thomas Holder to Lavinia Morgan married in Gateshead 1 June 1901 (10a 1699)

If anyone can help to give me ideas of how to find where they were married that would be lovely

Thanks

Thanks Collin, I forgot to mention that I have checked billion graves, find a grave and deceased online but none of them have records of my family members yet.  I only found it by accident on the website of the Aberdeen family history so I know they are there, just don't know where about in the kirk yard they are as we have the number stone but not the plan of the kirk yard but thanks again for your help 😊

Hi, I am new to this forum, I am just wondering if anyone has a copy of map plan of headstones in Marnoch kirkyard? I have been trying to find the book as we have seen them before in Aberdeen Family History centre but I cant find the Marnoch book :-(

We have just discovered another 5 members of my family and we are visiting Marnoch at the end of July but we would rather have a map of where the stones are than walking up and down trying to find them.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place as my family are from Scotland but we live in the North East so can't just pop into the family history centre, any help appreciated thanks
