I notice that one of the sisters is called Mary Ann and Mary Ann's were very often known as Polly or Poll. Are you sure it is written as ' Doll '.

Fustion was a poor mans velvet. When the fustion was woven it consisted of a series of loops and the person who cut off the loops to make it look like velvet was known as ?????????/  a fustion cutter !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Purple Frog,

A hooper or hoop bender was a specific trade making wooden hoops for the coopering industry.
