i have been trying for 18 months to find out anything about my ggrandfather his name was carlo besselo he married my ggrandmother elizabeth perry in 1880s they had my grandmother olivetta he then dissapeared when she was 10 but she doesnt know where her mother wouldnt have his name mentioned. On the marriage certifacate he is down as ships donkeyman from italy and his fathers name was also carlo and i am afraid thats all i know

this is the name down for my gggrandfather his first name is francis not sure if perry is his middle name or double barrell in 1862 he was living in back street st ives with his wife margaret jane formerly stevens and my ggrandmother mary elizabeth can anyone find out for me if there was any other siblings or there marriage i dont know anything about them before 1862

does anyone know where i can find out any info on this my husbands grandfather was killed in the disaster both his parents have passed away so i cant ask them i think it must have been in the 1930s. after speaking to my husbands brother this weekend he seems to think it was only him killed then and it wasnt a disaster just a terrible accident he was cushed underground but not sure how.
