« on: Wednesday 21 February 07 01:00 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Lilygirl
I have LARKINS in Gamlingay & cockayne Hatley which is only a couple of miles away.
Starting with William Larkins & Susannah Trigg (Gamlingay)
Children Zacharriah Trigg, Samuel, William, Henry, David, Elizabeth, Mary, John, Thomas, Robert, James, Susannah and Ann
Some kids chr Gamlingay and chr  Cockayne hatley
Born between 1812 & 1827.
I am working down because Zachariah Larkins married Eliza Griggs in 1847. So he was literally my first larkins.........GGgrandfather.
I have just discovered all this in recent times and intend going through the PR's
Cheers Sunny

Hi Chloe
That is my James Thomas Worwood.
I have a copy of the birth when I did the Parish registers for time frame at St Mary's Rotherhithe.
James Thomas Worwood chr 12/9/1836 St Mary Rotherhithe
parents James Thomas Warwood/Worwood and Charlotte Elizabeth. Eves Place...... Fathers Occupation Carpenter. Which is rather odd seeing as the Worwoods were predominantly docks, engineers, boilermakers and watermen etc.
I have searched everything I can think of on and offline. Zilch.
I volunteer at the LDS so have no problem searching original PR's.
Yes James Thomas seems to be an only child....no reference to a Charlotte Elizabeths death anywhere.
There is a James the right age living with John and Sarah on the 1841. John and Sarah are I am sure, Charlotte Elizabeths parents, son of Robert and Mary I think from Memory.
So did he have a child with a cousin?
Did he marry later and she married Jno Fenton in 1841.....
She was at work with jno Fenton's sister on the 1841 (before marriage) and left James T (1836) with her parents????
I am following the same lines as you.
Strange as it seems........we are thinking the same way. ANY ANY ideas how to prove it anyone???
Cheers Pam  (sunny)

The George helyar, 30 of Bridport is my George Helyar.  he and wife Mary Ann nee Morley Married St James Westminster. If anyone is related to him I would love to here from you. He was definitly living Hereford place.
Oh yes.......My dad remembers Colin Cowdrey, the English Spin bowler (cricket)......I have no idea how he knew him. We lived in Kent and Colin C played for Kent. perhaps coincidence.
Life is full of them
Cheers Pam Hillier

« on: Thursday 01 June 06 04:13 BST (UK)  »
Hi
No worries,
I have been working split shifts so may take a week to finish typing Horsham PR's. I can post on here or send privately.
Cheers Pam
Hi Pam and Andrea,

Thanks for your help with this.

Pam any parish records would be very welcome.

Andrea, i now have access to the 1841 and 1851 census and found no trace of Peter Dale and family either the one that you found for Celia could well be the right one.

Thanks again

Dorothy

Dorothy,
I collected a stack of Dales from the Horsham Parish records...I will try and type them out so I can post them on here if your want......... I will definitely go through for the ones you had. Most of the ones I collected were earlier though.
Dales married in to the Horsham Seagraves - my tree.
Cheers Sunny (Pam from Adelaide Australia)
