I was wondering if DNA tests can test for royal blood? IF so what DNA tests do?

Thanks

The qualifying date for my soldier is 30 Aug 1914. SO this means that he arrived in France then?

Thanks

Good point BumbleB.

Unfortunately, Rosie, I cannot find a baptism for his wife, Elizabeth (nee Soltan). I do not believe that he was previously married, but I will take a look on FindMyPast.

Hi all,

My 5x great grandfather, Francis Cockerill married Elizabeth Soltan in 1775 in Burton Fleming, where he had two daughters, Mary and Martha. There is a baptism record for a Francis Cockerill in 1765 in Burton Fleming. This would make him 10/11 when he was married?!?!?

If I have traced the correct lineage, how likely is it that a 10 year old married and had children?? HE died in 1784.
