Hello,

I am new to this site and I hope someone will be able to help with
my research.

I am interested in any information regarding the WHITE/WHYTE Family
in the East Grinstead / Lingfield areas.

I can trace my roots directly back to a William White (born ca.1805)
in East Grinstead, Who married a Mary Divall (born ca.1809).

I suspect William White might well have several siblings, possibly:

John White (born ca.1800) in East Grinstead
James White (born ca.1802) in East Grinstead
Edward White (born ca.1804) in East Grinstead
Richard White (born ca.1812) in East Grinstead
Charles White (born ca.1813) in East Grinstead

I also suspect their parents were a Robert White (born ca.1766)
in Lingfield, who married Ann (surname unknown ???)

I would be very grateful if someone could have a look into the
parish records for the East Grinstead / Lingfield areas
hopefully confirming my research.
