i got alot of info on wm bowles raynors dad from
the british newpaper archive

i found nottm journal
joseph raynor 1856 died nottingham of high cross street
father of the present superintendent of police aged 83 yrs
i posted a pdf of the clipping

william bowles raynor birth shefield maybe cannot find him in nottingham

said he was born 1803 new radford nottingham on census not there but is older brother john born 1800 is
there parents are joseph raynor and ann

looking for births of william himself he had sisters who on the 1851 nottm census are listed as being born in
sheffield but can't find their births and don't know where or how to look
 
1814 eliz         born sheffield yorks
1811 mary ann     born sheffield yorks
1807 rebecca      born sheffield yorks
daugters of joseph and ann raynor and sisters of wm bowles

any help would be welcome hope i posted to the right place thanks in advance

thismypast was one of my old accounts
the picture associated my old account is most likely of william bowles raynor himself it was on a piece of glass,
i also have some old newspaper clippings
have not been using rootschat for sometime, saw your post thought i would reply
